“All this is largely unpredictable”
In Serbia, on the night of August 1, it was reported that special police units of the unrecognized Republic of Kosovo had advanced to the Serbian border, and the Serbs themselves began to build barricades in response for these actions. In addition, a shootout was reported on the border between Serbia and Kosovo. Aleksey Chepa, First Deputy Head of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, believes that Kosovo is now trying to squeeze the Serbs out of its land.

In an interview with Lenta.ru, Chepa said that at the moment it is difficult to predict anything. The politician explains this by saying that what is happening is largely unpredictable, and the Kosovo government is making “inadequate decisions”, trying to do everything to squeeze the Serbs out of Serbian soil.
The parliamentarian is convinced that the UN countries and the United States are directly involved in conflict between Kosovo and Serbia. Chepa stressed that the conflicts unleashed by the West, unfortunately, do not subside in any region of the world.
The deputy added that no situations serve as a lesson for Western countries, therefore they systematically continue to escalate conflict situations not only in Europe, but also around the world.
